Hejsa.

A Postcard from New York

Dear mom and dad,

Now I’m in New York also called the Big Apple. It’s so beautiful, and the people here are so nice.
Today I went shopping in Times Square. It was fantastic, and there were so many colourful neon lights. I actually bought both of you a souvenir, but you will have to wait, because I want it to be a surprise.
Yesterday I went to the world-famous Statue of Liberty. It was amazing and the view from the harbour was so beautiful. Did you know, that the Statue of Liberty was given as a gift to USA from France in 1886, and the figure of the women was designed by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi.
Tomorrow I have planned to see the Empire State Building. I’m so excited to see the 381 m tall building. I’m got to go to sleep now, see you back in Denmark.

Your, Sarmad

Tak på forhånd!

Derudover lad vær med at bruge ordet "so" så meget, f.eks. kan du skrive "It’s extremely beautiful, and the people here are very nice"

Have arrived in N.Y., aka the Big Apple. It’s so beautiful, and the locals are real nice. Today I went shopping in Times Square; fantastic, and heaps of colourful neon lights. I got you some souvenirs, won't say what they are...it's a surprise. I've also seen the Statue of Liberty. Amazing, and the view from the harbour rocks. Said statue was a gift from France, in 1886, and designed by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi. Tomorrow I'm seeing the Empire State Building; 381 m tall! Wow! Cheers, Sarmad
