There are many factors that may cause racial conflicts. But one of the reasons can be that one race is inferior economic. The racial conflict is to seen many all over the world. If we look at South Africa as an example, where the apartheid has been for several years, has there been a huge racial-separation where blacks and whites could not be at the same places e.g. the blacks place were in the back of the bus whereas the whites place were in front. The blacks were forbidden to go at the same restaurant as the whites, and it was mainly the whites who had the power in South Africa. The odd thing about this conflict is that the majority of the whites in South African only were a small part of the population of the country. The reason why the whites could keep on suppressing the black was because the whites had much more financial support. The whites were extremely afraid of the blacks, so they often lived behind gates to keep them from the danger, which “The Guilt” is a perfect example of.
We could also take a look at USA, which is a country where the appearances shouts “a country for everyone”, but it is much different in reality. The majorities in the ghettos in the States are blacks, and that makes the blacks standing much weaker than the whites socially, because they cannot get the same options for education, and this can also bee called for a racial conflict because it is not something accidentally. It goes way back to the time when USA transported slaves from Africa and made them do all the hard work. I am not saying that all American are racist, but USA has had several racial conflicts, and the blacks has make there own groups so they cannot be exposed to more racism.
The cultural conflicts also takes place right here in Denmark, where the Danish Protestantism and Islam has caused some huge conflicts. An obvious subject is the Muhammad conflict. That has created a colossal disagreement. We are divided into three groups: 1. the one who thinks that we have made a mistake. 2. The one who does not think we have made a mistake and 3. The one who just thinks that the whole situation is silly.
All in all, you can say that factors that may cause racial or cultural conflicts is religion, suppression and economic. But these three factors will always bee here. I don’t think, that we can ever change them, even if we try really hard. People are different and we think different. So before all this can come to an end, we have to think a like.
