At Seventy-third Street he stopped and turned right. He walked slowly to the cafeteria and went inside. There were a man and a woman, sitting at the corner. They looked happy, smiling to each other. He went at the table behind them and sat down. The waiter in the black suit came over to him and asked gentle. “Do you want something”? The young man said smiled:
“Coffee, please”. When the waiter went getting the coffee, he heard the man and woman behind him, started looking and talking about him. Then they left the cafeteria and walked slowly outside. The weather got a little darker and it began raining light. “You should not believe on what they are saying about the weather in the radio”, the waiter said. “First they tell us that the weather looks fair and mild today and now its raining”. The young man laughed and drank the coffee. He looked at his watch. Norma should be here now. He picked up the flowers and smelled briefly at them. He saw the door opening and someone came inside. It was Norma. She looked so beautiful in her read dress. He stands up and went over to her. “Norma”, he said and gave her the flowers. She took the flowers and smelled at them. “Thank you”, Norma said and gave him a gentle kiss. Together they walked outside and it was still raining. They passed a restaurant and the radio was still poured out bad news, that a hammer murderer was on the loose and that every body had to take care of themselves. They walked slowly down the street and sat on the seat. Next day the young man passed the flower stand and bought another bouquet while the radio told that the hammer murderer had killed another victim on the seat yesterday..

At Seventy-third Street he stopped and turned right. He walked slowly to the cafeteria and went inside. There were a man and a woman, sitting at the corner. They looked happy, smiling AT each other. He went TO the table behind them and sat down. The waiter in the black suit came (over) to him and GENTLY asked. “Do you want ANYTHING”? The young man SMILED AND SAID: “Coffee, please”. When the waiter went TO GET the coffee, THE YOUNG MAN NOTICED the man and woman behind him, THEY HAD started looking and talking about him. Then they left the TABLE and slowly WALKED outside. The weather got a little darker and it began raining lightly. “You should not believe (on) what they are saying about the weather in the radio”, the waiter said. “First they tell YOU that the weather looks fair and mild today BUT now IT'S raining”. The young man laughed and drank the coffee. He looked at his watch. Norma should be here now. He picked up the flowers and BRIEFLY smelled (at) them. He saw the door opening and someone ENTERED. It was Norma. She looked so beautiful in her read dress. He STOOD up and went (over) to her. “Norma”, he said and gave her the flowers. She took THEM and smelled (at) them. “Thank you”, Norma said and gave him a gentle kiss. Together they walked outside and it was still raining. They passed a restaurant and the radio was still POURING out bad news. (That) A hammer murderer was on the loose and (that) EVERYBODY had to take care of themselves. They walked slowly down the street and sat on A BENCH. Next day the young man passed the flower stand and bought another bouquet while the radio REPORTED that the hammer murderer had killed another victim on the BENCH yesterday..
