There can be a lot of reasons to will introduce a new form for complaint. In this example they will introduce a method to get some more customers by sending text messages to every young customer and others who could be an opportunity to would buy goods from the shop. I think that if would be an okay thing to do. Because every possible revenue will benefit the shop. So why not text messages? I am just thinking of how they will organize it. In almost every shop around the world you can get a “membership card” so you every month receive a catalogue from the store or maybe get a little discount on the goods. Every time their for example came a new person to be member, the store must have the phone number and thus send the messages around every week or month. This method of sending messages around to the customers is meant to scrape more customers to the shop. Mainly young people.
There are good opportunities by sending text messages around or advertise in youth magazines. We all know that if one teenager find something interesting he/she will tells it to everybody and on that way the product will be popular. Every idiot know what the young people likes. We can write thing on a way to brainwash them, by saying how good the product is, how cheap it is and the offer is only valid for a short period etc. The good thing is you can send messages around when you want it. At any time. They can advertise it anywhere. Kiosks, youth clubs, hairdressers etc. But a lot of the young girls an especially the guys must see and touch the product before they buy it, and do not even look at the messages they will get from the different companies. I do not think that it will be a great success, because of all the superficial
young we have. They will hardly read the message, and if they also must take into the shop for see the product? It will not be a opportunity. That are they too lazy to.
If they really need to send these messages around, so it shall be when there are exclusive offers that nobody can say no to. Because if it becomes a habit just to send messages around once a week, customers will be tired of it and lose the urge just to read it.
I have interviewed a girl of 18 years old and she says she thinks it would be good with SMS messages or emails. She says that when she get a message she goes in to the companies page and look. She thinks, maybe it could be too much, but thinks it would help, if they send them rarely. But if people like the shopaholics are going into the pages they can not stop buying things, and maybe that way they can decoy some extra customers to them. Finally I would not introduce it, only if it was posted a few times a year so it seemed new for the customers.
