Ken:
- paralyzed from the neck down
- flirty

- an artist/sculptor
- wants to keep his dignity

Dr. Scott:

- professional reasons for not saying so
- professional distance and hippocrate's oath
Dr. Emerson:
- doesn't agree with Ken on his decision
