Politics

Denmark is a small country and small market, and therefore we countries, where we can sell our products on. Denmark is a member of the European Union(EU) and via ours membership, we have opportunity to sell our products on other markets, e.g. the German market, or the French…
But the European Union(EU) is also a way for us to get influence, on the Politics in Europe.

We are also member of the United Nations(UN) and have been it since the foundation in 1945. Denmark has take part in peace-keeping missions, in Kosovo and Lebanon. So Denmark is an active member of UN.
We have been a member of NATO(North Atlantic Treaty Organization) since the foundation in 1949. We have been active in Afghanistan and Libya and countries. It’s also a Dane who is the NATO secretary general, and his name is Anders Fogh Rasmussen. So we are an active member of NATO too.
