Hej
On July 22nd, 1933 she actually came out of the water if you believe in Mr. Spicer and his wife who drove along the winding road between the villages Dores and Foyers an early morning. They saw a gigantic creature lumber across the road, which on this spot is close to the edge of the lake. The creature had a long, snake-like tail and a big lumpy body and moved quickly out of sight towards the water’s edge.
She was also seen close to on the 20th of august, 1952, when Mrs. Greta Finlay, who lives in Inverness, sat by her caravan on a parking ground at Torr Point. She heard a splashing from the water and saw the monster appear right in front of her, so near by the bank that she declares that she “could have hit Nessie with a stone.” However, she did not have the presence of mind to throw anything at Nessie because she literally stood paralyzed by horror until the enormous creature disappeared into the dark water.
Today Nessie is hunted by professional “monster-hunters” that explore the lake with sonar equipment and small submarines that are equipped with infrared cameras. A sonar intercepted a creature that sent out bubbles of air and moved at a high speed. Was Nessie found? The news papers were enthusiastic, but the thought got rejected by scientists from the British Museum, who believed that it was a tree trunk which rushed through the water because of a gas creation in it’s rotting interior.
