Higher pay?
Danish report about teacher’s worktime show, that the teachers are not as busy as they think themselves.
To the teachers this comes as a chock; they feel that one does not appreciate their efforts.
The teachers have for a long spoken about the fact that their working day have got longer and more tough than earlier. They have more meetings, and have to use more time on the student’s social and personal problems.
A spokesman for the Danish Teachers Association comments the report in following way: ”Are people aware, that these new duty’s ”steals” our breaks and our spare time? The parents should think of, that we have more and more disciplinary difficulties in the lessons. We also have to remind of, that we salary wise are fallen behind.
In spite of, that the report is published just before the pay salary with the government, we still will try to give our members better conditions. It is however an question if it will succeed to the teachers to convins their employer and the rest of the population about, that they does not earn enough in proportion to their efforts. There are probably groups in society, who has both a harder work and lower pay.

Higher salary?
A Danish report about teachers' working hours shows that the teachers are not as busy as they think themselves.
To the teachers this comes as a shock; they feel that their efforts are not appreciated.
The teachers have for a long time told that their working day have become longer and tougher than earlier.
They have more meetings, and have to use more time on the students' social and personal problems.
A spokesman for the Danish Teachers' Association comments on the report in the following way:
"Are people aware that these new duties "steal" our breaks and spare time. The parents ought to think that we get more and more disciplinary difficulties in the classes/lessons. We also have to remind them that we salary-wise have fallen behind. Despite the reeport will be published just before the payment negotiations with the government, we will still try to get better conditions for our members".
It is, however, a question whether the teachers manage to convince their employers and the rest of the population that they do earn enough considering their effort.
There are apparently groups in society that work harder and receive less payment.
