Hej
Nogen der lige kan rette den her igennem for mig, jeg kan nemlig ikke selv se om der er fejl..
Mange tak
Au pair in England
The English middleclass has got a bad reputation, if you going to believe the rapport, there recently have been published. An organization called International Youth Welfare and London University had made the rapport together by material there has been gathered from questionnaire there has been sent out to about 1500 au pair girls in different parts of England. Three quarters of the questionnaire was returned and showed some (ubehagelige(ved ikke lige hvad det hedder)) facts about who the young girls, there are coming to England to learn the language, are being treated.
There is often big different between what the young girls are being told before the leave and the way they are being treated by the host families in England. A surprisingly big number says that they only make £9 at week, they work about 50 hours a week and a lot of them do not eat with the families and do get enough food.
The president for International Youth Welfare, Dom Placid, who is a monk self came at England for 20 years ago and still live there. He as well as they other in the organization they think that is important that the situation for the au pair girls is being known so that the bad conditions can be improved. The organization has suggested that there are being made a booklet to all au pair girls there are coming to England and the host families. This could maybe give the English middleclass a better reputation in other European countries.
