Abstract- nogen der vil rette?
This study investigates the concept “the golden proportion”, which also is expressed by the number phi ( ). The golden proportion was defined by the ancient Greeks.
Using different geometric methods (the right-angled triangle) it is shown, how to construct the golden proportion. Furthermore proof is given, that every pentagram contains a certain number of golden proportions.
In relation to the golden proportion the Fibonacci numbers and Binet’s Formula is also covered.
The scientific faculty has been used to document the occurrence of the golden proportion as claimed by certain persons and theories. The humanistic faculty has been used to document the existence of the golden proportion in art and architecture. The occurrence of the Fibonacci numbers in nature is documented. Furthermore the discovery of historically facts of the golden proportion is presented.
The fact that some scientists doubt, that the golden proportion actually was the principle used in historical art and architecture is covered.

Skimming this paper a person will come to learn, that a great number of subjects we use today, actually are ideas and inventions made by the polymaths of the Islamic Golden Age. The paper examines the reasons behind the rise and fall of the Islamic Golden Age, with special reference to the tremendous scientific development, which takes place during the golden age of Islam. The paper also describes and analyzes an example of a greatest achievement developed during this golden period; that of Omar Khayyam and his defined geometric solution of cubic equations. The paper relates the provided example to another example of Gerolamo Cardano, who in the 16th century succeeds in defining a general algebraic solution of cubic equations, though based on mathematically illegal moves. With the invention of the complex numbers, Cardano’s solution is legalized; this paper briefly describes the complex numbers. The paper, draws a conclusion that the developments of the Islamic Golden Age are very prominent and are milestones to the modern mathematics and science. Even though scientist still are doubtful as to what could have caused this rapid rise and rapid fall, one thing is for sure, it is only the most developed of empires which have the capability to exceed every other nation, both socially as well as educationally, in such a manner.

Jeg forstår sagtens hvad du mener, og synes også det er et udmærket abstract, men jeg synes dog du skal overvej om 'this paper' og 'the paper' fremgår for mange gange. Prøv om du kan finde et substitut ord herfor :)
Desuden tror jeg det kunne være bedre hvis du indledte med noget andet end skimming this paper a person will come to learn ...
Men alt i alt et rigtig godt abstract :)

This INVESTIGATION CENTRES AROUND THE CONCEPT OF THE GOLDEN RATIO, which DENOTED by the number phi ( ). The golden RATIO was FIRST DESCRIBED by the ancient Greek MATHEMATICIANS (NAMES).
Using different geometric methods (the right-angled triangle) it is shown (BRUG IKKE DET DANSKE KOMMA HER) how to MAKE A constructION CONTAINING the golden RATIO. Furthermore, A prooF that every pentagram contains a certain number of golden RATIOS IS GIVEN.
In relation to the CONCEPT OF THE golden RATIO the Fibonacci numbers and Binet’s Formula ARE also covered.
The scientific faculty has been used to document the occurrence of the golden RATIO as claimed by certain persons and theories. The humanistic faculty has been used to document the existence of the golden proportion in art and architecture. The occurrence of the Fibonacci numbers in nature is documented. Furthermore the discovery of historically facts of the golden proportion is presented.
The fact that some scientists doubt (ARG, DANSK KOMMA) that the golden RATIO actually was the principle used in historical art and architecture is covered.
