Translation of the summery of The Shining Mountain
In Danish:
“The Shining Mountain” er et moderne eventyr om en far, der vil have, at hans datter skal være ligeså hårdfør, stolt og stærk, som han er. Hun må ikke være ligesom de andre piger i Skotland. Hun skal være usædvanlig. Pigen er bange for at skuffe sin far, der er en berømt bjergbestiger. Da faderen tager hende med til the Shining Mountain, fortæller hun ham derfor ikke, at hun er bange og træt og svag. Til sidst, da bjerggudinden får faderen til at tro, at han har mistet sin datter, fordi hun er bange for at skuffe ham, forstår han sin fejltagelse. Da han bryder sammen og græder, skammer Pangma-La sig ikke længere, og nu er hun ikke længere bange for at skuffe sin far.
In English (the translation):
The Shining Mountain is a modern fairy tale about a father who wants his daughter to be just as tough, proud and strong as he is. He does not want her to be like the other girls in Scotland. She has to be unusual. The girl is afraid to disappoint her father who is a famous mountaineer. When the father brings her to the Shining therefore she does not tell him, that she is scared and tired and weak. In the end, when the mountain goddess gets the father to believe that he has lost his daughter because she is afraid to disappoint him, he understands his mistake. When he breaks down and cries, Pangma-La is no longer shame and she is no longer afraid to disappoint her father.

She must be unusual. The girl is afraid to disappoint his father, a renowned mountaineer. Thats why, when the father takes her on to the Shining Mountain, she does not tell him, that she is scared and tired and weak. Finally, as mountaingoddess get the father to believe that he has lost his daughter because she is afraid to disappoint him, he understands his mistake. When he crashes and crying shame Pangma-La is no longer, and now she no longer afraid to disappoint his father.

She has to be unusual (evt et andet ord her, da dette oftest bruges om 'unormale' ting). The girl is afraid to disappoint her father, who is a famous mountaineer. When the father brings her to the Shining therefore ,she does not tell him that (ikke komma foran 'that') she is scared and tired and weak. In the end, when the mountain goddess gets the father to believe that he has lost his daughter, because she is afraid to disappoint him, he understands his mistake. When he breaks down and cries, Pangma-La is no longer (forkert sætningsopbygning) shame and she is no longer afraid to disappoint her father.
