Plot;
The main character, tells us an episode of his childhood, an episode where he tells about the new black girl. That moved to there neighbourhood. And the way his friend Allisa treed her “be calling her nigger” and haw the black race lived at that time.
Conflict;
The conflict begins, when the new girl moves to there neighbourhood. And it is between Allison and the new girl. Because she is black and Allison white and camas from a family, that don’t like black people.
Surprise ending;
There is not surprise ending, in this history. We know from the beginning, that the narrator regrets the way he treat the new girl. And in the ending we hear to that he is sorry.
Characterization;
The main character ,( Paul Auster ) live on Prospect Street. He is eight years old.
The subordinate character, Allison is ten years old and lives with her parents. That seems to be racism.
Setting; The story takes place, in a small town in 1981. “This happened twenty years ago" and it is written in 2001. So (1981)
Point of view; The point of view is first person narrator. Because the narrator use “I".
Style; The narrator uses every day language. To tell the story to us.
Theme;
The theme is "Racism"
Interpretation
Answer to the Questions 1-11;
1) When he describes, the weather.
2) The main character (Paul Auster) lives on Prospect Street. He is eight years old. The subordinate character, Allison is ten years old, and lives with her parents. The main character and Allison they are the only kids, in the block and they are best friends.

The new girl, was standing in the middle of Prospect Street, when the saw her. She was straddling her bike, were watching the main character. He saw ham to and they smiled, at each other. The smiles in there faces tell us how curiosity they are.

The positive contact, interrupted by Allison when, she came back and sow the main character with the new girl. And when she said “Get out of here”nigger"
I well use the word, mean to characterize her interference.
5) Narrator describes the situation, without in order to emphasize the tension among children, in the history by describing the environment around them.
6) "She shuffled up the porch steps, her head down, her chin quivering, and disappeared into the house" her body language tells us how sad she was. "Disappointed".

Narrator; The narrator is adult now; he was eight years old when the episode took place. He didn’t understand much of it, that time when he has eight. Now that he is an adult, he understands it all. And regret it all.
Character; The main character in the history is "Round character" he was a complicated personality, like real people. We get the impression, from him that we never know them at all. That he still surprise us.
Time aspecter; In the beginning you don’t know what happens really, but in the end you understand the meaning of the story.
Setting;
Prospect street was in a white, lower middle-class neighbourhood. Most of the houses were about seventy years old, of simple, sturdy design. There were a few thick trees with gnarled trunks, but mostly there were short, squat shrubs that provided little shade.
