The beach was filled with happy people who enjoyed the sun. Suddenly cried someone “beware the dog!” while he pointed to an Alsatian who rushed along the beach with froth at its mouth. Parents take care of the kids who playing in the sand and headed for their cars. A lifeguard, who had seen it all, walked towards the people who followed the dog with sticks and stones. When they were catching up with the dog, whose tongue now covered with sand as well, a little boy suddenly come running in front of the dog. Everybody was terrified, but the boy whose face was completely pale of fright, hugged the dog. “Don’t hurt my dog,” he yelled. “It hasn’t done anything!” All the men, who now were completely out of breath, tried to get the boy away from the dog, whose mouth was bigger than the boys head. “But it is crazy!” they cried. “No,” the boy whimpered. “It has eaten our soap, and the only thing it wants is to get some of the water I have just fetched for it.” Those who had followed the dog got very embarrassed which was understandable.

The beach was filled with happy people enjoying the sunshine. Suddenly cried someone [ordstilling] “beware the dog!” while pointing to an Alsatian that was rushing along the beach and frothing at the mouth.

The parents take care of the kids [nej, det står der vist ikke helt i originalteksten] who [verbum mangler] playing in the sand and headed for their cars. A lifeguard, who had seen it all, walked towards the people who followed [overvej udvidet præteritum (past continuous); komma foran who da det indleder parentetisk relativsætning] the dog with sticks and stones.

When they were catching [overvej pluperfektum (førdatid / past perfect) up with the dog, whose tongue [verbum mangler] now covered with sand as well, a little boy suddenly come [tempus] running in front of the dog. Everybody was terrified, but the boy whose [komma foran whose da det indleder parentetisk relativsætning] face was completely pale of fright, hugged the dog.

“Don’t hurt my dog,” he shouted [shouted er mere neutralt]. “It hasn’t done anything!” All the men, who now were [ordstilling] completely out of breath, tried to get the boy away from the dog, whose mouth was bigger than the boys [genitivform mangler] head. “But it is crazy!”

“No,” the boy whimpered. “It has eaten our soap, and the only thing it wants is to get some of the water I have just fetched for it.” Those who had followed the dog got [overvej 'to get' vs 'to be'] very embarrassed which [komma foran which, da det indleder parentetisk relativsætning] was understandable.

Nu har jeg rettet det jeg kunne:

The beach was filled with happy people who enjoying the sunshine. Suddenly cried someone "beware the dog!" while he pointing to an Alsatian that was rushing along the beach and frothing at the mouth. The parents caught on the kids who are playing in the sand and headed for their cars. A lifeguard, who had seen it all, walked towards the people, who followed the dog with sticks and stones. When they was catching up with the dog, whose is tongue now covered with sand as well, a little boy suddenly came running in front of the dog. Everybody was terrified, but the boy, whose face was completely pale of fright, hugged the dog. "Don't hurt my dog," he shouted. "It hasn't done anything!" All the men, who were now completely out of breath, tried to get the boy away from the dog, whose mouth was bigger than the boys head. "But it is fire!" they cried. "No," the boy whimpered. "It has eaten our soap, and the only thing it wants is to get some of the water I have just fetched for it." Those who had followed the dog get very embarrassed, which was understandable.

who were enjoying the sunshine -- udvidet datid (past continuous) formes via to be + præs. part.

The parents grabbed their children, who were playing in the sand ...

... a lifeguard, who had seen it all, walked towards the people, who had been following the dog

When they had almost caught up with the dog ...

... but the boy, pale of fright, hugged the dog ...

"But it is rabid!"

Those who had followed the dog were embarrassed. --- hvis du partout vil bruge 'to get', så skal den sættes i præteritum; they got
