Bullying is a very growing problem in Denmark, but of cause not just in Denmark, but almost everywhere in the world. Bullying exists everywhere, in schools to offices. In the last couple of years the problem has grown bigger, the number of children who kills themselves gets higher. We have to do something when we still can, because bullying just ruin the child or teen’s life. Bullying really cause long-term problems for the victims.
Sometimes bullies will pick on people bigger or smaller than their size, bullies hurt people verbally and physically. There are many reasons for that. One of them is because the bullies themselves are or have been the victim of bullying. Others just want attention or things, or they are just jealous, and then there are the people who just bully others because they are afraid that they will be the next one who gets bullied.

I think it’s great that so many wants to help, to stop bullying in schools, but I also think we have to see what caused the problem, ex group pressure, low self-esteem, problems at home and so on. My opinion is that, there are too many expectations to the children, both at home, the school and friends.
Nobody can be perfect, and I think special the parents, has high expectations to their children.
Some of the things, I think we can do in the schools to stop and prevent bullying, are more group work across each other, so we can learn to talk with everybody (social) and if the teacher can see that a person are sitting alone, almost in every time/class or hear that there are a problem in the class. The teacher should take the problem up in the class, and find some kind of solution.
We just have to accept that each other, that we are different, both inside and outside.
