The sad new quickly spread in the camp and at dawn they held a meeting to discuss what should be done.
First they agreed that they would carry the body of Livingstone all of his personal effects the long way back to Zanzibar. Secondly Susi and Chuma were chosen as leaders not just because they had been friends of Livingstone but also because of practically reasons since no one ells had sufficient knowledge of the areas which they should cross on the journey.
Nothing could more clearly have proved their faithfulness than the first one of their decisions. The plan almost seemed hopeless. They could not avoid meeting tribes who were suspicious to them not to say hostile. Everywhere they would meet superstitious fear to the dead white man. In addition they were scared that Chtiambo would demand a great amount of money from them to permission to remove the body. Therefore they decided to pretend that their master still was alive.
When Chtiambo got to know the truth he showed them however just kindness and understand ness. “Why didn’t you tell me at the beginning?” he said. “All the time I have known that you didn’t come to our country as enemies” First he tried to get the to burry Livingstone in the village; but as he understood that they could not be persuaded he allowed them to stay for some days yet and even offered them help to make the body ready for the journey.

The sad NEWS(er altid flertal med s på) quickly spread in the camp and at dawn they held a meeting to discuss what should be done.
First they agreed that they would carry the body of Livingstone AND all of his personal effects the long way back to Zanzibar. Secondly Susi and Chuma were chosen as leaders not just because they had been friends of LIVINGSTONE'S(der skal ejefalds S på selvom det er en OF-genitiv) but also because of practically reasons since no one ELSE(stavefejl) had sufficient knowledge of the areas which they should/WOULD cross on the journey.
Nothing could have proved their faithfulness MORE CLEARLY than the first of their/THESE decisions. The plan almost seemed hopeless. They could not avoid meeting tribes who were suspicious OF(forkert præposition) them, not to say hostile. Everywhere they would meet superstitious fear OF(forkert præposition) the dead white man. In addition they were scared that Chtiambo would demand a great amount of money from them FOR(forkert præposition) permission to remove the body. Therefore they decided to pretend that their master was STILL alive.
HOWEVER, When Chtiambo got to know/FOUND OUT the truth he showed them NOTHING BUT kindness and UNDERSTANDING(understandness er ikke et ord). “Why didn’t you tell me at the beginning/FROM THE START?” he said. “All the time I have known that you didn’t come to our country as enemies” First he tried to get THEM to burry Livingstone in the village; but as he understood that they could not be persuaded he allowed them to stay for yet ANOTHER COUPLE OF days and even offered them help to make the body ready for the journey.
