When the Vietnam War in the spring of 1975 finally reached it ending, it had cost nearly 2 million persons their lives. Besides causing terrible human sufferings the war left hideous scars in the Vietnamese woods, like that day today the woods are still marked by the massive bombings and the extended use of defoliant.
There are however good news: slowly, but safely are the war caused rain forests regaining their natural balance, and it is succeeded to the authorities to get the farmers to return to some of the areas, there were destroyed during the war.
According to a research, which results just is publicized, is there already made huge progress. But there is still much there has to be done.
The Vietnamese’s energetic effort to get the country back on track has resulted in a number of unusual initiatives. In several villages have the farmers for instants found that bomb craters are well qualified for fish farming.
