This study investigates Chinas historical and economic development, from a country with planned economy, to a with market economy trait. Chinas history from the Cultural Revolution to now is interesting both on the political and the economy aspects. China how with a doubt mate one of the biggest transformations both on the economy and on the standard of living. Two of Chinas most important leaders Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping influence on the economy and political can still be seen in China today. China has the world’s fastest growing economy, which in the last 10 years concludes, with an average year increase of around 10 %. I have used the GDP and other data to conclude how Chinas economic situation is. One of the most important conflicts on Chinas economy is the exchange rate, this has started a war between China and the U.S. Chinas continue to develop, if you look at the economy and on the political aspects. This development got a big influence on the environment, and Chinas environment is now at a critical level which, later will lead to a lack of food in the country. China will, when they get a eating habit of meat like the Americans, be the world biggest importer of meat, and statistics shows that china will stand for 80 % of the worlds meat gather.
