Engelsk referat af "Angels and Demons"

Hej mennesker, jeg har et referat, som jeg godt kunne tænke mig at få lidt hjælp til ift. grammatik og sådan. Jeg er ikke så god til engelsk, så kunne godt tænke mig en, som gad kigge efter fejl og evt. rette teksten. Det er et referat af bogen "Angels and Demons" af Dan Brown.

Summary

Robert Langdon is a professor of religious iconology at Harward University. A foreign person named Maximillian Kohler calls Langdon, telling him a man has been horrendously killed with the word “Illuminati” imprinted on his chest. The victim is not some ordinary person, but an inventor of the antimatter, a technology which contains so much energy it can be used as a bomb. At the CERN, where the man has been killed, Langdon meets the victim’s daughter Vittoria. When she presents her father and her creation of the antimatter placed in a canister, she realises it’s gone. The person who killed Vittoria’s father stole his eye to break in the security system, where the canister was places and where only she and her father had access. At the same time the canister was stolen, a countdown of an unstoppable bomb had begun. The canister would blow up at midnight. 

When Langdon and Vittoria arrive at Rome, where the canister has been detected and they have been informed by the Swiss Guard, they go straight to the Swiss Guard’s office. When not being able to convince the commander about the bomb, because of his closely guarding of the Vatican where a conclave is taking place, Langdon and Vittoria contact the camerlengo from the command’s office where they’ve been locked up. When the three of them show up at the camerlengo’s office, someone call’s the camerlengo saying he has kidnapped four of the cardinals, the preferiti, and that the four cardinals will die in different churches, one every hour starting at eight. In this very limited time, Langdon and Vittoria are supposed to find the cardinals and the canister, before time runs out. One by one the cardinals die related to the four elements of Illuminati; earth, air, fire and water. When finally finding the canister, the camerlengo wants to sacrifice himself by flying to the very high into the sky, where the canister can explode doing no harm to mankind. Langdon himself voluntarily flies with him. Miraculously both of them survives from the explosion in the sky. When turning back to earth, it turns out the camerlengo is the person, who sent out a Hassasin to steel the canister and kill the cardinals in favour of the church. The camerlengo did all of this, in what he thought would be in favour of the church.
