Hoved- og ledsætninger i engelsk

Hej.

Jeg har fået en opgave, som går ud på, at jeg skal lave ti sætninger, hvor jeg skal dele dem ind i Hovedsætninger (H) og ledsætninger (L)

Skal lave disse slags sætninger:  (H) = en hovedsætning    (H+L) = hovedsætning + ledsætning      (L+H) = ledsætning + hovedsætning    4 (H+H)      5 (H+L+H)      6(L+H+L) 

Har så lavet disse 10 sætninger om konflikten i Nordirland:

1) Many schoolgirls were abused. (H)

2) When they weren’t abusing the schoolgirls, they were fighting with the police. (L+H)

3) After fighting with the police, they went home to plan new attacks. (L+H)

4) The parents were mad on the bullies, who were threatening their girls. (H+L)

5) The little girls were scared and they didn’t like going to school. (H+H)

6) The police were protecting the girls and afterwards they were going to observe the demon-strations. (H+H)

7) They were demonstrating every day and even if they were tired, they continued for a long time. (H+L+H)

8) It was expensive to have the police on the streets and afterwards when the conflict was over, it ran up to cost 73000 dollars per day. (H+L+H)

9) Even if it was expensive, the police was respected among the Catholics during the conflict that lasted for many weeks. (L+H+L)

10) Even though they were respected by many, the police had some problems by handle the young Protestants who were out of control. (L+H+L)

Jeg kender godt reglen om at en Hovedsætning i modsætning til en Ledsætning kan stå alene, men er i tvivl om det jeg har skrevet, er rigtigt, og hvor kommaerne skal sættes. Nogen der har forstand på om det jeg har skrevet er rigtigt, da jeg er meget i tvivl? På forhånd tak:)
