Livet i 80’erne er ikke let. Det moderne menneske bliver let styret af den moderne teknik, der af de fleste politikere ses som løsningen på alle vores problemer. Samfundet har aldrig været så rigt, hævder de. Mange ser tilbage til 60’ernes samfund med nostalgi. Og man hører fra flere og flere mennesker råbet: tilbage til naturen. For disse mennesker er den moderne teknik roden til alt ondt, især den stigende forurening. Hvis livet skal fortsætte, må dansen om guldkalven bringes til ophør, hævder de, ellers vil den natur, vi kender i dag, forsvinde i løbet af få år.
Life in the 80s is not easy. The modern man is easily controlled by modern techniques which by most politicians are seen as the solution to all our problems. Society has never been so rich, the claim. Many look back to the society of the 60s with nostalgia. And you hear from more and more people the cry: back to nature. For these people the modern technique is the root of all evil especially of the increasing pollution. If life is to continue worshipping the golden call must be terminated they maintain otherwise the nature that we know today will disappear within a few years.

Society has never been so rich, the claim. Many look back to the society of the 60s with nostalgia. And you hear from more and more people the cry: back to nature. For these people the modern technique is the root of all evil especially of the increasing pollution. If life is to continue (comma) worshipping the golden call must be terminated (comma) they maintain (comma) otherwise the nature that we know today will disappear within a few years.

Det er bedre at skrive: "Nature, as we know it today, will........."
