Er den en der vil kaste et blik på nedstående sætninger og komme med evt. rettelser...Det er især flertals endelserne jeg ikke er god til..
1. My Father has had a good job for many years, but now the firm has introduced computers and he does not like to go to work anymore. I hope that he can get a job another place, even though he is to old for hard manual labour.
2. Our history teacher told a very funny story about Henry the eight and all his wives, but it most certainly do not belong in a history book.
3. After my opinion we have way to much homework.
4. I think that Labour is going to win the next election. What do you think? What is the meaning of Labour? It has many significances – look them up in your dictionary.
5. The mountaineers succeeded in reaching the top of the mountain, but it was it a matter of life or death. One of the expeditions members was found dead of exhaustion.
6. Can you lend me 20 krones, I have lost my wallet. I had to lend 5 krones for the buss ticket this morning. The driver refused to take me with, even though me knew that I have a season ticket. He refused that he had seen me before that big fool.
7. There was many delicious courses on the menu, and my host said that I could choose whatever I wanted. I selected the largest steak and the most filling dessert, because I was very hungry.
8. In USA the presidential elections are taking place every 4th year in November. How do you think will be elected as president at the next election?
9. The modern society is controlled by technology. Even the small local communities uses electronic data processing. The children have to learn to use computers, but there are not many teachers to learn them.
