Engelsk stil!

Hey nogen der kan rette noget i denne engelsk stil grammatisk eller sprogligt?

Nike is one of the many companies in the world, which are having factories and employees all over the world. Nike has been accused by thousands of consumers, that they do not have decent working conditions for its employees. Another thing that Nike has been accused for is child labour, but according to Nike’s website, no contract worker making Nike’s footwear can be under 18.

Nike has been under fire recently, when the company Oxfam Australia has been running a Nikewatch campaign for the past six years. The problem regarding Nike’s monitoring system is that Transparency 101 is not independent. This monitoring system fails to ask basic questions whether the employees had the right to form a union. Nike’s promoting campaigns including sports and healthy living are very double-standard, when the workers in e.g. the Far East are working with such bad standard which seems to be the case here. The activist, consumers and other companies are not happy with the fact that Nike is not showing full reports including contract workers. There has been some episodes where Nike has been using child labour and bad working conditions for the employees. Considering another thing, if Nike improved the working conditions and raised the wages it would be unfair competition against the local companies, which then are going to loose employees. Seen with the activists and companies prospect this of course is not acceptable. Not only is Nike having such bad standards in the Far East but is also having child labour at its factories this is simply a violation of the mankind. But all thing has good and bad sides, if people have enough money to buy, bread and milk why is Nike to be blamed if the economy in these countries are not as high as in Europe or in the US.

The Far East includes the developing countries like Pakistan, India etc. These countries have a bad economy and when giants as Nike settle in these countries they make places of work. The people in these countries think that it is a good job to earn $5 per week, but even if they are going to survive of the $5 they earn, it is way below Nike’s standards e.g. in America. That is why many people are worried about the globalisation, because companies like Nike settle in these developing countries, and are paying a minimun wage to contract workers or child labours. You can find many pros and cons about Nike’s working conditions in these countries, but if Nike, Reebok etc. does not move to the developing countries, they would not develop and be a part of the international world.

There should be some guidelines for all multinational companies like Nike, Reebok etc, including wages, age and how the environment should be on the factories. Nike comment that they are one of the companies that do the most to improve the working conditions. But this should be a matter of course for all companies to try steady improving the working condtions. The concernced countries governments should also try to make some guidelines especially for multinational companies
