Hej.

1. The story of Romeo & Juliet is taking(TAKES) place in Verona, in Italy, where two chief families, had(HAVE) been enemies for ages, with lot of violent actions. There was a big anger(THERE WAS A LOT OF TENSION) between these families, the rich Capulet and the Montague’s. For many years there had been quarrels and fight(S) between these two families. Romeo belongs to the Montague’s, Juliet to the Capulet’s.

2. The main characters of the story, is(ARE) dear Romeo and the beautiful Juliet. Romeo is the son of Montague and Lady Montague. His(HE’S) is a young man and he is handsome, intelligent, and sensitive. Though impulsive and immature, his idealism and passion make him an extremely likable character in the whole story. He lives in the middle of a violent feud between his family and the Capulet’s, but he is not at all interested in violence. His only interest is his dear Juliet and the love he is carrying(HE HAS) for her. Juliet is the daughter of the Capulet, and is a beautiful girl that falls in love with Romeo her actions, which she takes in the story, shows her unbelievable love for Romeo. At the beginning of the drama, Juliet acts a little naive after(IN) my opinion, as if she never had thought about love, but she grows up quickly upon falling in love with Romeo, the son of her family’s enemy, the Montague. There(THEIR) love ends unfortunately in a sad ending(UNFORTUNATELY ENDS SADLY), and Romeo had(HAS) to leave his dear Juliet with a heavy heart…

- Tror det var det

3. The scene at the party is the one of the decisive stages in the story; it is where Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. The party or rather called a supper that began(BEGINS) quiet(QUITE) peaceful(LY), showed(TURNED OUT) to be an evening with(OF) inconvenience, but also an evening where love plays an important role. Romeo and Juliet meet the each other at the first time at the Capulet’s feast. It is also the evening where Romeo meets his hearts(HEART’S) love, the beautiful Juliet. The dancing began, and Romeo (WAS) suddenly struck with the great beauty of a woman who was dancing. He did not know the name of his hearts(HEART’S) love, while Romeo was in a deep love stage, Tybalt, a nephew of lord Capulet recognized him by his voice to be Romeo. He attacked Romeo and, would have killed him, if Tybalt´s uncle the old Capulet, had not intervened. The old Capulet did not want any troubles(TROUBLE), out of respect for his guests. Tybalt swore that Romeo would pay dearly. When (THE) dancing was over Romeo went to talk with his dear Juliet, (at this point Romeo did not know her name) they talked a lot about love, that evening until the woman was, called away to her mother. Romeo asked who her mother was and discovered that the women that he loved so much, was his enemy. Also Juliet (ALSO SKAL SÆTTES IND HER) found out who Romeo was, a Montague. However, there(THEIR) love was more important than this hade between there families, they where both struck with the same passion, and where in love in each other. Romeo left the party at midnight, but his heart was could not stay away from where he had left his heart(HVAD?)…

4. In Verona, two powerful families the Montague’s and the Capulet’s have been fighting with each other for years. Old Capulet, Juliet’s father, throws a party to which he invites all his friends. The Montague’s are not invited of course, but Romeo devises an idea(A PLAN), he hides his face with a mask so no one can recognize him. He comes to the dance unknown of that the fate had brought him to his hearts(HEART’S) love. At the Capulet's party, Romeo who is disguised by the mask falls in love with Juliet on(AT THE FIRST) sight. However, the night that where(WAS) supposed to be a peaceful night with music, and dancing, quickly becomes(BECAME) a night with a lot of conflicts and inconveniences. Soon after Tybalt recognizes Romeo by his voice and attacks him, and would have killed him. Capulet stops Tybalt from killing Romeo at his party, telling him that he do(DOES) not want any troubles(TROUBLE). Tybalt swore that night that Romeo should pay some other time. When the dancing was over, Romeo went to the place where his hearts(HEART’S) love stood. They did not know each other’s(OTHERS’) names, and that they where enemies, but their love was more important than names and relatives. They talked about love and where(WERE) both busy, until the young woman was called away to her mother. At that point, Romeo finds out that the women he loves more than himself, is his enemy, a Capulet. Soon after Juliet finds out the same about Romeo, that he is a Montague, her enemy. There(THEIR) love for each other, have(HAS) developed and they fall in love in each other. Romeo leaves the party at midnight, but he was unable to take his heart with him, which he had forgotten at his dear Juliet. In spite of the episode with Tybalt at the party, Romeo went to his dear Juliet. Ignoring the danger, Romeo scales the Capulet's wall to be near Juliet, the woman he cannot forget. Unnoticed in Juliet's orchard, Romeo learns of Juliet's love for him. After declaring their feelings for each other, the two decide to marry. Juliet sends Romeo a message at(IN) the morning so they can get married. Early at daybreak, Romeo goes to the monastery to speak with his friend, Friar Lawrence. Romeo reveals his new passion for Juliet, and asks the friar to marry them. (THE) Friar tells Romeo that his love for Juliet is not real, but agrees to marry the two, since he hopes this marriage will end the long war between the to families and bring peace. That same day, about noon Romeos(ROMEO’S) friend Mercutio was walking through the streets of Verona, when he met a hot-tempered Tybalt. In no time, a quarrel began. Soon after Romeo came, that way and he did not want a fight, because Tybalt was a relative of his dear Juliet. Before Romeo could do anything Tybalt drew his weapon, and attacked. Mercutio also drew his sword and attacked. It results(ENDS) with Mercutios(MERCUTIO’S) dead(DEATH). When Romeo saw his best friend lie there, dead he could not hold his temper any longer, and killed Tybalt. Soon after Romeo, is(WAS) banished from Verona, forever. After the fight, Romeo had taken refuge in Friar Lawrence’s cell. Soon after Romeo gets a good advice from Friar, so he goes to say goodbye to his dear Juliet, and afterwards he goes straight to Mantua….

5. Romeo is the son of the Montagues. His is a handsome young man, intelligent, and sensitive. Though impulsive and immature, his idealism and passion make him an extremely likable character. He lives in the middle of a violent feud between his family and the Capulets, but he is not at all interested in violence. His only interest is his love to his dear Juliet. Juliet is the daughter of Capulets. She is a beautiful girl. At the beginning of the drama (SHE?) acts as if she never had thought about love and marriage, but she grows up quickly upon falling in love with Romeo, the son of her family’s enemy, the Montague’s.

6. Tybalt is a relative of Juliet, and a Capulet, that(WHICH) means that he is Romeos(ROMEO’S) enemy, and will try anything to kill him. Tybalt is Romeos best friend.(HMM – DU HAR LIGE SAGT AT HAN VIL DRÆBE HAM..(; )

- THERE = Der. Their = Deres. They're = De er.
- Where = hvor. Were = flertal af was.

The dancing began, and Romeo was suddenly struck by the great beauty of a dancing woman.

- Det er vel egentlig en smagssag, men jeg syntes bare den lød lidt for langtrukken..(;
