Jeg har en tekst som jeg har brug for hjælp til. Hvis i ville bruge få minutter på at nævne fejl og mangler vil jeg blive meget taknemmelig:
The short story ”The farther you go” is about Hank, aged fifty-two, who live in Connecticut. He is driving Russell, his son-in-law, to the airport, Bradley International. Hank has decided to send him away from his daughter so he never again is going to se her. The reason is that Russell had a fight with Julie, Hanks daughter, and the fight ended up with Russell hitting her. Even though Hank’s daughter has been treated badly, he still thinks Russell is a fine guy and it ends up that he thinks he has treated him badly.
Hank has just had prostate cancer surgery and when Russell began to talk about Julie and their relationship, the nausea returned. When they came to the airport buys Hank a ticket for Russell to Pittsburgh because he got a flashback of a woman he once had an affair with, who lived in Pittsburgh. They headed forward to the gate and by the gate Russell asks him, if he could have his car instead. Hank suddenly sees the injustice in throwing him out of the city and take his car. So he gives the car to Russell, gives him the keys and lets him drive away. After letting Russell drive stood Hank alone at the airport and needed a lift back home. His wife Faye had droved to the airport to pick him up even though Hank didn’t know. She said that she had an intuitive felling that he might need a ride.
