Hej! Skal aflevere nogle linjer som er meget vigtige! Vil nogen kigge disse igennem for at se om det er rigtigt?
This assignment deals with the several changes England went through during the eighties.
The politic, economic and social changes which I have chosen to emphasize are the general elections in 79, 83 and 87 which Margaret Thatcher won and her new policy to fight the inflation. In addition the Falklands war, the mineworkers strike in 84-85, the big cities problems and the poll tax which really made Thatcher unpopular in the lower class.
With the poem “Another day in Paradise” and the short story “The Face” have I tried to show how the changes which are mentioned in the first part of the assignment are expressed.
Final have different welfare states models as the universal model been discussed and the advantages and disadvantages pointed out

Nydeligt engelsk. Har et par småting:
"The politic, economic and social changes..."
- Tror det bør være 'political'. Er det ikke 'politiske', du mener? 'Politic' betyder snarere 'diplomatisk' eller 'taktfuld'.
"...the big cities problems..."
- Jeg regner med, du mener byernes problemer? I så fald skal du tilføje en apostrof efter cities.
"...story “The Face” have I tried to show..."
- Du bør nok vende ordstillingen om, så det bliver '...story “The Face” I have tried to show...

- Tror du mener 'Finally'. Derudover ville jeg flytte 'have' til før 'been', så det bliver mere sammenhængende. I øvrigt, skal der så være et s på 'states'? Hvad mener du med sætningen helt præcist? Du bør nok desuden tilføje 'have been' igen lige før 'pointed out'.
