Hej, ser dette fornuftigt ud:
The disturbances in Northern Ireland, which by many are characterized as a civil war, can only be understood, if you know something of Ireland’s history. In the 17th cen-tury thousands of Protestants including many Presbyterians from Scotland were send over to colonize Ulster. The gap between the natives and the planters became wider, because they did not have the same religion. The Irish were not only pursued because they were Irish, but also because they were Catholic. Since then religion and politics were close connected. In 1689 the Catholic king, James II of England, escaped to Ire-land to be protected by his Irish subjects. But he was finally defeated by the Protes-tants on the twelfth of July 1690 in the Battle of Boyne. Ever since this day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm by Irish Protestants, who gathers several places in Northern Ireland. Marches are arranged and meetings are hold, and in speeches and songs it is underlined that the Protestants were and still are victors.

1: if you know something of Ireland’s history
Helst: if you know something about Ireland's history
Muligt: if you know some of Ireland’s history
2: Cen-ture = 1 ord(Century)
3: were send over to colonize Ulster
Bedre: were sent to colonize Ulster
4: planters -> newcomers/colonizers/eventuelt andet ord
5: Ire-land = et ord(Ireland)
6: Protes-tants = 1 ord(Protestants)
7: Ever since this day has been = ever sicne then, this day has been
8: who gathers several places = who gathers in several places
9: meetings are hold = meetings are held
Skulle vist være det... Efter hvad jeg kan se...
