Jeg har biologi og kemi i min opgave, og det gør det ret svært at skrive et godt abstract (synes jeg ihvertfald).
Er er den der vil tjekke om det her er et rigtigt abstract? Evt. også for stave /oversættelses fejl?


Hyperactivities in the dopaminergic system can lead to psychosis such as schizophrenia, while hypo activities in the dopaminergic system can lead to brain diseases, such as Parkinson disease. The antipsychotic drug, Aripiprazol, is used in both situations, because it is a partial agonist – it both agonistic and antagonistic effects, which gives the drug, the ability to stabilise the activities in the dopaminergic system.
This paper gives account for communication between neurons, dopamine as a neurotransmitter and the importance of the dopaminergic system, when looking at a psychosis or brain disease.
It discusses the use of antipsychotic drugs; who to use them, their effects and side effects.
Furthermore, I will review the synthesis of the antipsychotic drug Aripiprazol, and thoroughly go through the used compounds.
The method will be organic synthesis, including an estimation of purity of the produced drugs by melting-point measurements and TLC. Apart from that, I will calculate how much drug the synthesis actually gave, compared to the theoretical amount for the completed steps.

My results from the synthesis turned out very good – TLC gave Rf 1: 0,78. Rf 2: 0,50, melting-point measurements (only performed on 3-(3-Chloropropanoylamino) phenol) gave 131°C (theoretical melting point: 132°C), and the amount of produced drug from the first step of the synthesis gave 90%, second step gave 82% compared to the theoretical amount.
