Jeg er i gang med at skrive SRO og har skrevet et abstract til opgaven:

This paper deals with identity construction in a post-modern society and how this is reflected in the English literature. The first part of this paper is an analysis and interpretation of the short story “The Red Line” and this analysis and interpretation contain a very detailed and deep characterization of the main characters with focus on their values and self-perception through psychological aspects. The second part is mainly based on psychological facts. It includes a statement and definition of identity in general and the identity in a post-modern society. Furthermore, the second part studies the advantages and disadvantages about being a young individual in the city nowadays. Finally, the paper concludes that the process of identity construction is clearly reflected in the short story “The Red Line”. The main characters are visibly affected by the post-modern society and represent some typical post-modern identities.
