Abstract rettelse
Hej :) Er der en venlig sjæl, som vil kigge mit abstract igennem, evt. konstruktiv kritik.
This study deals with the issue of racial discrimination in South Africa during the system of Apartheid and how the indoctrination affects the people. The first part of the paper is an account of prejudices, discrimination, conformity and existentialism based on psychological theories by, among others, the approved theorist Jean-Paul Sartre. The second part is an analysis and interpretation of the novel by André Brink A Dry White Season which focuses on the main character’s development from a conform human being to an independent man who makes an existential choice. The last part of the paper discusses what it requires of mankind to prevent conformity and how Apartheid still influences the society of South Africa today. Finally as a conclusion of the study the discrimination was formerly more distinct than today but it is still there and will demand a renewal of people’s mentality.
