The crash in Wall street fortsatte til udgangen af oktober 1929. Mandag den 26. Faldt aktiekurserne igen. Den amerikanske regering og de store banker forsøgte at skabe ny tillid på markedet. Alligevel fortsatte faldet om tirsdagen. Omkring 16 millioner aktier skiftede ejere – næsten alle til absolutte bund-kurser. Investorernes tab blev opgjort til omkring 26 milliarder dollars. Aldrig tidligere i USA's historie havde man oplevet lignende fald. Virkningerne af krakket bredte sig til næsten alle andre dele af den amerikanske økonomi. Alle former for virksomheder – butikker, landbrug og fabrikker, store og små gik fallit i hundredvis i de enkelte delestater.

The crash in Wall Street continued to the end of October 1929. Monday 26 the stock quotes declined again. The U.S. government and major banks were trying to create new confidence in the market. Anyway the decline continued on Tuesday. Approximately 16 million shares changed owners – almost all the absolute bottom-quotes. The investors’ losses were estimated to about 26 billion dollars. Never before had U.S history experienced a similar decline. The effects of the crack spread to almost all other parts of the U.S economy. All kind of businesses- shops, agriculture and factories, large and small went bankrupt in hundreds of individual parts of states.

The crash in Wall Street continued till the end of October 1929. Monday the 26th, the stock quotes declined again. The U.S. government and major banks attempted to create new trust on the market. Despite this, the decline continued on Tuesday. Approximately 16 million shares switched owners - almost all of them at absolute rock-bottom rates. The investors' losses were estimated to be approximately 26 billion dollars. Never before in the history of the USA, had such a loss taken place. The effects of the crack spread to almost all parts of the american economy. All kinds of businesses, stores, agriculture and factories, large and small went bankrupt in hundreds of the various states.
