Abstract til SRP - kritik
Hej
This paper sets out to analyze and interpret the 1996 novel Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. The book deals with a nameless main character whose lack of willpower leads to a split personality. Tyler Durden is summoned as a diametrical opposite of the narrator, and wants to revolutionize the society by erasing all perishable goods. This libido character is a result of a careless society where people are living in a delusion created by the mainstream consumerism culture. Tyler Durden is the originator of the so called fight clubs and later the terror group ”Project Mayhem”with the goal of bringing mankind back to ground zero, destoying the society as we know it and blast the world free of hisory. We live in a world in fear of death, and it's only when we let go of this fear that we can truly live in freedom. By using the famous sociologist Anthony Giddens's theories about how a person's self-identity is formed in modern society, this study looks at how the society is portrayed in the novel. Even though the story is fictional, it holds up a lot of good points about how we as humans should live and prioritize our lives.

Tyler Durden is summoned as a diametrical opposite of the narrator, and wants to revolutionize the society by erasing all perishable goods. He wants to eliminate the superficial worthlessness. This libido character is a result of a careless society where people are living in a delusion created by the mainstream consumerism culture. Tyler Durden is the originator of the so called fight clubs, and later on the terror group ”Project Mayhem”, with the goal of bringing mankind back to ground zero, destroying the society as we know it, and blast the world free of history. The society is a constantly changing phenomenon with to major participants: The people who acts in the society and the society as a social structure itself. The relationship between those two are extremely important, especially now in the 21st century. To form an identity in the modern society is far more complex than it has even been before due to how we interact in a world of globalization.

this study looks at how the society is portrayed in the novel. (society uden the - er nævnt flere gange)
with to major participants (two)
than it has even been (ever been)
Husk at marker at "Fight Club" er en titel...
Ellers ser det rigtig fint ud :)
