Irregularities
People tend to take advantage of one’s misery. It is important to thing think twice before you believe anything. The worse worst mistake one can commit make is to have a chid child with a married man. It is not easy to face the realities and deal with following problems resulting of from an affair with a married man. All the questions and frustrations which enter the mind in these kinds of situation can get one to forget the joy of life.

I have read a short story “Irregularities” by Courtney Jones, 2003. The narrator is a young woman who is going to have a baby because she has slept with her boss, Dr Soleander. She wants him to find out of about the baby of by himself, because she does not know why he wants to be with her instead of with his beloved wife. The fact that she does not tell Dr. Solander about her pregnancy is a clear indication of her low self-confidence. She believes her affair with her boss is not the typical boss/secretary relationship that you might see on soap apera operas. Yet she has gotten presents from her boss, for instance a chair and a keyboard. She commits makes mistakes because she is envy envious of his her boss and her sister.
Even my older sister doesn’t own any I know of (I would have lifted for my own) and she has everything. (s. 9 line 43-44)
She envies her boss because of his family and money. Dr Soleander is the boss for of the cardic care unit; he is always busy; it is rare that he gets eight our hours of sleep and he always care carries a beeper. He takes advantage of his employees and especially of the narrator. He manipulates the narrator by telling sweet things about her fault. In On the other hand the narrator is easy to manipulate. In a way she knows the boss does not really love her really.
...as far as I know, there was nothing missing in his life that he suddenly saw in my life late one evening while arranging slides for a presentation about hyoplastic?? left heart syndrome.
His wife is beautiful and sweet, well groomed, charming at parties. (s. 10 line 89-91)
In the end she said to Dr Soleander that she has a heartburn without knowing it is not about the heart but has something to do with the throat. She does it because she wants him back by feeling sorry for her.

The relationship devolps develops during the story.The relationship starts when the boss comments about her irregular heart. She falls in love with him because he loves her fault. He takes chooses the narrator instead of his wife because she could not??. There are many examples showing that they have a good fair?? (affair?). Not an affair witch which (witch=heks) ends after one day. Their relationship developed from a good and emotional relationship to a normal boss/secretary relationship. The story builds op up over around the narrator’s pregnancy. As she is getting more and more aware of the baby, Dr. Solander is getting lesser and lesser aware of her and she loses the relationship when she looses the baby. The theme in the short story is relationship with someone who is married and the confused confusion when you god get a baby in a relationship like that, and To feel the feeling of being taken be taken advertence advantage of and can being able to do anything nothing about it. Because you are lower than them. The mother’s relationship with her baby. Confuse Confusion about having a baby without have planed having planned to have one. The differenties about changes in your body that you notice when you shall have are having a baby. The confuse confusion about whether to be happy about to not having the child or not when her boss is the father.

Everything happened suddenly, you can not make your fault right again. The best way is to make the best of it. The narrator knows she is has fallen in her boss’s fælde trap but she still tries still to get him back; by this she loses her self esteem and does not talk about her problem with her boss witch which also has was a big fault mistake in was is what has happened. Never lead let someone take advatence advantage in from your misurry misery; be always be strong; everyone deserves the bedst. Always be happy about with what you have, instead of being unhappy about with what you do not don't have.
