 Hey gutter :)

Det ville være perfekt hvis i gad kigge lidt på den her tekst ... For mit engelsk er ikke i top :(

Philip is an Englishman. He comes from a middle-upper class family. Philip is a person who is very devoted in social status and power. He also thinks a lot about what other people thinks about him. Throughout the novel he transforms himself mentally. He goes from being cool and smug to be in love. At the beginning of the story he is described as a person with a lot of high thoughts of Himself. Although he is cold and smug, he is also mama's boy. The mother is a very controlling woman who sends Philip, her own son, to Italy to save the family honor.

There is a very big difference between Englishmen and Italians. Englishmen are always gentlemen and always behave as adults. While the Italians are childish but charming. this gets confirmed when Philip arrives in Italy. The porter who had been carrying philip's bags had to run to the guard to play touch-you-last. Philip did not like this and were certainly not in the mood for it. When Philip is going to pay, he knows that he is being cheated. For the trip could not cost more than six lire actually not more than four. But he doesn’t say anything and pay whats asked. This also shows that Philip is the kind of person who will not show that money is a problem. He also behave arrogantly, especially towards Miss Abbott. He has known her for many many years but is still behaving himself superior to her. When he saw her in Italy was the conversation between them more like a police interrogation than when two people talk together after a long time. There were sharp questions and nervous answers. As said before, Philip is a person who is very devoted to social status and power. This is why Philip almost immediately asks about Gino and his father's status in society. He was speechless when he was told that Gino was a son of a dentist. When he arrived at Lilia and Gino's house, he was fully focused on his mission and he focused only on finding negative things about Gino instead of positive. he notice that Gino's hands and sleeves are dirty as they are going to eat, he eats like a pig, he spits on the floor and he is aggressive against a innocent small kitten. Said straight up, Gino isn’t behaving like a gentlemand. When he is talking with Lilia in private unde four eyes, he is really trying to manipulate her and making her leave Gino. He is saying stuff like that he will loose his sister and his mother will loose a daughter. But it’s not true according to Lilia. She says that he has been unkind to her ever since she married his brother. And this time she will get married for love. Lilia ends up not leaving Gino and it ends with they get a son and Lilia dies. You get to know in chapter 9 that the baby dies. When philip tells Gino that his son is dead, Philip is almost killed by Gino. He is barely saved by Miss abot. From that day Philip’s point of view towards her is completely changed. He begins to like her and think of her. Her face begins to look young. He is in love! His relationship with Gino is also changed. He had a plan of visiting him the following spring. One of the things philip loves about Gino is that he is really hournest.

There is a moment in the movie when Philip tells Miss Abbott that he can not fall in love. But in chapter 10, he falls in love with her and also in her looks. He describes her as a goddess. As the most important thing in Philip’s is that he becomes free from his mother's cobwebs. I call tell that because at the end of the story he writes a letter to his mother and tells her that he will never return to Sawston.

Okay det her er bare en hurtig rettelse, så der kan stadig være nogle små fejl rundt omkring.. Tingene skrevet med fede bogstaver er ting som jeg har rettet..
ting skrevet med denne her er ting som kan undværes/slettes...

Philip is an Englishman. He comes from a middle-upper class family. Philip is a person who is very devoted in social status and power ???? . He is also (thinks a lot about) very concerned with what other people think about him. Throughout the novel he (transforms mentally) goes through a mental transformation. He goes from being cool and smug to being in love. At the beginning of the story he is described as a person with a lot of high thoughts of (H)himself. Although he is cold and smug(,) he is also mama's boy. The mother is a very (controlling) domineering  woman, who sends Philip, her own son, to Italy to save the family honour.

There is a very big difference between Englishmen and Italians. Englishmen are always gentlemen and always behave as adults(. While) whereas the Italians are childish but charming. This (gets confirmed) is clearly seen when Philip arrives in Italy. The porter, who had been carrying Philip's bags, ran to the guard to play touch-you-last. Philip did not like this and (were) was certainly not in the mood for it. When Philip is (going) about  to pay(,) he knows that he is being cheated(,) because the trip could not have cost more than six lire, -actually not more than four. (But h)He doesn’t, however,  say anything and pay (whats) what's been asked. This also shows that Philip is the kind of person who will not (show) let people know that money is a problem. He also behave arrogantly, especially towards Miss Abbott. He has known her for many many years, but (is) still (behaving himself superior to her) treats her in a condescending manner.. When he saw her in Italy (was) their conversation (between them more like a) was more in the manner of a police interrogation than (when two people) a friendly  talk between two people together after a long time. There were sharp questions and nervous answers. As said before, Philip is a person who is very devoted to social status and power. This is why he almost immediately asks about Gino and his father's status in society. He was speechless when he was told that Gino was a son of a dentist. When he arrived at Lilia and Gino's house(,) he was fully focussed on his mission and he focussed only on finding negative things about Gino instead of positive ones. He noticed that Gino's hands and sleeves (are) were dirty (as they are) just before they were going to eat, and that he (eats) ate like a pig, (he) spitting(s) on the floor and (he is) being aggressive (against) towards a small innocent kitten. (Said straight out) In brief, Gino (isn’t) wasn't behaving like a gentleman. When (he is) talking (with) to Lilia in private (unde four eyes,) in private he is (he) really trying to manipulate her and making her leave Gino. He is saying stuff (like) to the effect that he will loose his (her) sister and his (her? er det ikke Lillia han taler med? hvis ikke skal der gøres noget så man ved det!) ???? mother will l(o)ose a daughter. (But that is not true a)According to Lilia this is not true, however. She says that he has been rude to her ever since she married his brother. And this time she will (get married) marry for love. Lilia ends up not leaving Gino and (it ends with) in the end they (get) have a son and Lilia dies. There is a (moment) scene in the movie where Philip tells Miss Abbott that he (can not)  cannot / can't fall in love. But in chapter 10, he falls in love with her and (in) with her looks too. He describes her as a goddess. (As t)The most important thing in (character) Philip’s mental make-up is that he detaches himself from his mother's (controling) controlling / domineering  mind. I (can tell that) know because in end of the story he writes a letter to his mother and tells her that he will never return to Sawston.
