B:  Comment on the following quotation from the text, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having your own business: “… being an entrepreneur is all about having a passion. It is a way of life. So who you are and what you do merges into one.”

Being an entrepreneur is not just something that you are, it is either something you chose to pursue or something you realize you want to be at a point in life. Sahar Hashemi stumbled upon entrepreneurship along the way, after losing her father. She traveled the world searching for something to do, you could say that entrepreneurship was her mid-life crisis hitting, and that entrepreneurship was Sahar and her brother’s gateway to try something new and start from scratch again after their dad passed.

Many people nowadays chose to become an entrepreneur, it is a growing business and people are pursuing the dream that shown in the media. The American dream has been reborn in the hearts of the people or at least in Denmark. Everyday some new young entrepreneur at age 12 that has started his own business and is selling iPhone covers and has a net worth of 5 million kr. That inspires other teens to go out and pursue the dream; the thing is that it is not that hard, if you are only looking to make some quick cash.
In my opinion, this is not true entrepreneurship. The quick cash fools them. It is not the same passion anymore, which Sahar is describing. They take the easy road to a couple of thousands kr. and sell cheap non-quality products imported from china at ridiculous prices, which is not fair for the consumer.
 
It is one of the most passion driven lines of business, you handle money that you yourself has made and handle the business all by yourself. You hire your own staff, work at hours you decide yourself and get the potential of becoming successful. This is only a little list of the many advantages of becoming an entrepreneur; it is the self-driven dream, which can be thought of as a hobby mixed with a job, it is key that you enjoy your work, even though you have to work at odd hours. It is like getting a baby and watching it grow, and partially take shape after a while.

There are many ways to run your business, you can decide If you want to be a stay at work contributor or if you want to run it more low key were your employers doesn’t see you in the everyday work life and you work from home away from your employs. This depends of the size of your firm and the size of your staff, if you does not have that much employs this will not apply to smaller businesses.

Entrepreneurship may sound like a bed of roses, but it is not always the dream that are shown in the papers or in the magazines. People need to realize that you only hear about the wonder kids, those who made it. There are plenty of cases were people invested their home, to start a business and after a couple of months their firm announce bankruptcy and they are left with no house and no money. Because this happened in the US, there were no safety net to catch them financially, so that leaves them with no choice but to live on the street.
