men hovedreglen for engelske stile er, at man ikke lave sammentrækninger, medmindre det er et citat, så i stedet for at sige wasn't så sig was not og samme med they've = they have

Der er grundlæggende mange fejl. Er det en oversættelse?

Husk, "there was/were people".

Det er en gigantisk misforståelse at sammentrækninger er bandlyst fra alt undtagen lokumsvægge og sms'er. Tværtimod bruges de med rette i mange semiformelle kontekster, fx nyhedsartikler og avisklummer. "Fy fy" kommer kun på tale hvis vi taler formel tekst – lærebøger, jobansøgninger, lovtekst...dén slags. I "ligegyldige" folkeskole- og gymnasiestile er der virkelig ingen grund til antikontraktionshysteri. (Dog kan en sammenstrækning skrives fuldt ud hvis man ønsker at lægge tryk på selve negationen not).

Hvad selve teksten angår:

In the meantime the they forgot all about the war, and they never remembered Earth again, until now..

And eEven more interestingly interesting is that they had discovered a lot of things that we never did had. To name a few They had found a cure to for cancer, they'd learned (BrE learnt) and mastered alchemy, and they as well as created an unlimited energy source, just to name a few accomplishments. These things is (kongruensfejl) going to change the lifes lives of billions.
