Nogen der lige vil tage et hurtig kig på denne oversættelse og rette de værste fejl?

I London har et specielt reklamebibliotek ved navn The Viner Collection netop set dagens lys. Samlingen rummer over en million reklamer fra begyndelsen af århundredet til 1970. Nu er biblioteket imidlertid også begyndt at indsamle nye reklamer, af den simple grund at de engelske reklamebureauer ikke selv er særlig gode til at holde styr på deres egne reklamer. Biblioteket, der fungerer på privat basis, bliver ofte kontaktet af reklamebureauer, der gerne vil se en annonce, de selv har lavet for 5-10 år siden. Lånerne er for det meste reklamefolk, der kan hente inspiration ved at se på de gamle annoncer. De britiske telefonselskaber har for eksempel base-ret en helt ny annonce på en reklame fra 1948. Reklamebiblioteket har i øjeblikket udelukkende reklamer fra engelsksprogede blade, men der er planer om at slå samlingen sammen med en tilsvarende tysk og fransk. På længere sigt skal der åbnes et reklamemuseum med de mest bemærkelsesværdige reklamer, f.eks. en fra 1940'rne med teksten »Flere læger ryger Camel».

However the library also started to collect new advertisements for that simple reason that the English advertising agencies are not very good to keep a track of their own advertisements. The library, which works on private basis, is often contacted by advertising agencies that will like to see an advertisement they made 10-15 years ago. The borrowers are for the most part advertising experts that can find inspiration by looking at old advertisements. The British telephone companies have for example base-rights on a whole new advertisement on a advertisement from 1948. The advertisement library has for the moment entirely advertisements from English-language magazines, but there is plans about combine the collection with an equivalent German and French. In the long term will an advertisement museum with the most remarkable advertisements open, for example one from the 1940’s with the text “More doctors smoke Camel”.
