Abstract rettelse, engelsk og samfundsfag

Hej alle!

Jeg skal aflevere min SRO på mandag, og jeg ville lige sende mit abstract in, for at nogle måske ville være søde at rette i det? Det er i engelsk og samfundsfag og vi har om socialisering, individualisering, social arv, kulturmøder og mønsterbrud. Det er ud fra filmen "Bend it like Beckham" hvor jeg perspektiverer til "Second Generasians".

This paper explores the meeting of two cultures. Using the fiction movie “Bend it like Beckham” which is based on some actual happenings, the assignment is referring to the non-fiction text “Second Generasians”. In England, the number of immigrants in the society is increasing. This should have solved the lack of labor, but also affect the norms, traditions and values in England. In this assignment I will explain the different aspects in this situation and out from the singular point of view. The cultural difference is gigantic and can offend foreigners on both sides. England is a free country in contrast to Asian counties. This gives the second generation other opportunities in form of civil rights, religion and social network. This has never been an option in their culture. The second generation has a hard time choosing between the cultures and there is a lot of pressure from both sides of the generations. In the search of identity, the individual also search for acceptance from their family and friends. Either way, the choice will disappoint some of the people who means a lot to them. The cultural meetings might be difficult, causing the religion, tradition and languages but for the survival on Earth it is important.
