Dear Sue

Sue started her car; she could not stop thinking about Nick. Was the message really for her? Why did Nick send her a message after six month’s they haven’t talked since Nick told her that he didn’t want a serious relationship with her? She could not find a reason for it. She arrived at the office 20 min. too late. Her boss was furious with her, but he understood her reason for showing up late. Sue forgot about it for a little time, but in her dinner break, her boss came and said to her that a boy called Nick was on the phone in her office. What did he want?

First the message and now he called her, when she was at work! She was pretty nervous when she entered the office. There it was – the phone – waiting for her. She picked up the phone and stumbled over the words “he-hello.” “Hello, is this you Sue” the voice in the other end asked. “Yes it is, Nick?” they talked for a half hour, and agreed to meet later the same day. 16.30 At Café summer. Sue didn't know if she was happy or angry, she had a strange feeling inside. She was very anxious about what would happen when she saw him again. Sue had not had a boyfriend since her and Nick was together. Her break was finished and she returned to the office to work. It was 1 o’clock and she was just waiting for it to be 4 o’clock. Finally she was done, now she had to meet Nick, and she was very nervous.

When she came into the city, she was stuck in the usual traffic jam, for second time today. She arrived at Café Summer 16.33 she looked trough the windows, but she could not see him, then she entered the Café. There were a lot of people, and there he stood, more beautiful than she recognized. She almost fell in love with him again. “Hey Sue, good to see you again” Nick said! “He-hey Nick, you too”! They went to the bar, to get a drink. There was so much to talk about, that they sat there for over 3 hours, without touching their drinks. Nick invited Sue to dinner at a Chinese restaurant 3 blocks from there. Sue Thought of the old days was everything turning back, or would he just meet her again, and say hi and hear how it was going for her? She didn’t know, but it didn’t matter now. Maybe she was burning a little hot on him again. She was happy. After third meal, Nick asked for a ride to his house, and Sue said yes of course. 15 min later they were outside Nick’s house. They were sitting there in the car, and just looking at each other for a while.

Then suddenly they were kissing, Sue could feel her heart beat very heavily and she got hot all over her body. Nick would call her tomorrow. On her way home she was thinking about the day, and what had happened. It all started in the traffic jam, then the message, the call, the meeting in Café Summer, the dinner at the Chinese restaurant and finally the kiss a while ago. She never would have thought this possible, but it was true. The boy of her dreams had returned, maybe. What if he just used her? No way was Nick not that kind of guy. She got out of her car, and into the house and directly bed.

Bip...Bip...Bip,
The watch biped, the clock was 06.30; she had to go to work. She sang in the bath, (she never does) she was happy. There was no traffic jam today, and she got to work as planed. She opened the door and saw the biggest bundle of flowers she ever had seen. There was a card attached.
It said:
Dear Sue
Thanks for the good time yesterday.
Love Nick.
Sue could not hide her happiness, she shined like the sun. That day Sue sold more than she had ever done before, she was waiting to get home so she could call Nick. On her way home she decided to visit Nick at his house. As she arrived in front of the house, she thought it looked dark inside. She moved up to the window and looked inside, there was nothing. Everything was gone, not as much as one single carpet was left. What has happened here? Nick had suddenly moved away, without saying a word. She began to cry, her dream boyfriend had left her again. In the middle of her crying she heard someone call on her. It was Nick, but where was he? She looked on the other side of the road, Nick had moved to the other side of the road, a bigger house with a better view. Sue ran towards Nick with her arms wide open, she jumped and landed in Nick arms, they kissed for a long time. Nick’s radio played inside the house, but so loud that you could hear “Unforgettable” out on the road. They looked each other in the eyes, and Nick said: Now I’m ready, and then he kissed her.
