Jeg vil blive glad, hvis en har tid til at kigge min oversættelse igennem, og evt. rette den for fejl!

Min oversættelse:
For years the number of smokers had been falling in Great Britain, but the latest number showing a little increase. Smoking is bad for one’s health and cost every year much life. Therefore smoking is banned now in many offices, in schools and in day care institutions. The most privately companies has also a smoking policy. The firm policy can be a ban against smoking or that the workers only may smoke in special rooms. Maybe the company would like to help the smokers, who want to stoop smoking.

I årevis har antallet af ryger i Storbritannien været faldende, men de seneste tal viser en lille stigning. Rygning er skadelig for helbredet og koster hvert år mange menneskeliv. Derfor forbydes rygning nu på mange kontorer, på skoler og i daginstitutioner. De fleste private virksomheder har også en rygepolitik. Firmaets politik kan være et forbud mod rygning eller, at medarbejderne kun må ryge i specielle rygelokaler. Måske ønsker firmaet at hjælpe de rygere, der vil holde op.

Therefore smoking is banned now in many offices, in schools and in day care institutions. The most privately companies has also a smoking policy. The firm policy can be a ban against smoking or that the workers only may smoke in special rooms. Maybe the company would like to help the smokers, who want to stoop smoking.

I årevis har antallet af ryger i Storbritannien været faldende, men de seneste tal viser en lille stigning. Rygning er skadelig for helbredet og koster hvert år mange menneskeliv. Derfor forbydes rygning nu på mange kontorer, på skoler og i daginstitutioner. De fleste private virksomheder har også en rygepolitik. Firmaets politik kan være et forbud mod rygning eller, at medarbejderne kun må ryge i specielle rygelokaler. Måske ønsker firmaet at hjælpe de rygere, der vil holde op.

For years HAS the number of smokers been faling in Great Britain, but the latest NUMBERS SHOW a little increase/rise. Smoking is bad for the HEAlTH (der står ikke for ENS helbred)and every year it cost MANY HUMAN LIVES (det står i flertal)
Smoking is there therefore banned in many offices, schools and day-care-institutions. The most private companies/activities also have a smoke policy. The firm policy can be a bann against smoking or, that the fellow workers may only smoke in special smokingrooms. Maybe the firm wishes to help the smokers who want to quit.

Jeg synes, der ofte er en tendens til at oversætte tekster ordret, men det kan man ikke altid. Det bliver ikke pænt engelsk, men "ordbogsengelsk". Mit bud ser ud som følger:
