In the year 1972 a republican family sit around the table in Ireland. A man with mask come into the living room and kills the father in the front of the son Frankie. He was only 10 years old.
In 1992 there were a fight between IRA and the army and police. Many army men and policemen died and only one from IRA. It was the man who had killed Frankie’s father who dead.
Frankie goes to USA and lives at the policeman and his family.
One night they went to a little pub where they were playing billiard with some other guys. Frankie won because he is a good billiard player.
The next day Frankie and his friend Martin started work on the ship, they had to use to transport the Stinger missiles, who they had bought to the IRA in Ireland.
After some times work the ship is finish.
Frankie lives together with the family and is with the family in the church when one daughter of Tom is going to confirmation. After the church is there an Irish party in the house.
Someone phones Frankie and said. “Martin is dead.”
Now Frankie has troubles, because his friend Martin is helping him with the missiles transport.
Tom and Eddie run after a young man who had tacked a car. Eddie shoots the man from the back.
When Tom comes back to his house is there brake in. They are looking for the “missilmoney”. Tom becomes trouble because there is three men. Frankie comes and held Tom and Tom’s wife.
It’s the man with the missiles, who had hired the three men to the brake in.
After the brake, in Tom is going around and looking for something. He finds the money.
Frankie takes to the “missilman” to get an answer for the brake in. Then he was beaten up of the “missilmans” guys.
One of Frankies friends has been tacked of the “missilman” in a car.
Frankie goes back to the house. Tom and Eddie are waiting for him. They capture him. On the trip from the house to the police station, the policemen become troubles and Frankie kills Eddie and beat Tom. Frankie takes to a warehouse to collect the missiles. He has no money, so with help of a bag bomb he kills four men and the “missilman”. Then he takes the missiles.
Tom are looking after Frankie, he got help of Megan, Frankie’s girlfriend. Frankie takes the both and the missils. Tom is following him and takes with the both. He shoots Frankie.
Tom said to Frankie before him dead. We never had a choice, you and I.
Frankie said to Tom, when he comes to America: It’s not an American story. It’s an Irish.
