Dette er en engelskstil, hvilken skal afleveres fredag. Den er skrevet ud fra mit yndlings kapitel i en bog kaldet "Rebuilding Coventry" (skrevet af Sue Townsend). Jeg kunne så godt tænke mig, at nogen ville læse denne korte stil igennem og hjælpe lidt med kompositionen af sætningerne og ordvalget. Jeg synes, at der er en masse mangler i teksten. Den er ikke rigtig sammenhængende, hvis I forstår.

My favorite captor
I have chosen captor 45, “Edna Dakin Takes to the Road” (the last captor). This is because, it is different from all other captors in the book, all drama has ended, Coventry had left England and there is no more ……, which make us readers more relaxed, we are now more interested in, how can this captor continue the story which seems done after captor 44.
Actually you might say that the story has ended after the 44 captor, although you are still a bit confused and worried for how Coventry is doing, were she is and what she is doing there, but when Edna Dakin says: “…I mean it’s exciting, isn’t it? She could be anywhere: Timbuctoo, Constantinople, Land’s End, anywhere. Better than living round here and going to the shops once day. I’ve decided I hate my life, Derek. I’m having a go at changing it”, we are suddenly not worried anymore. It dos not matter were she are or what she is doing, as long as she is having a better life!
This captor has made me think of my own life and what I see as the values of life. Why should people (f.eks? myself) life a life doing things, that other people want us to do, we should follow our dreams, our wishes, what we want to, how we fell.
It makes me think about the way, that I use my time. I should use more time to do things that I like, instead of doing things more complicated, than I have to, it would spare me a lot of time. Time is my problem, there are so many things, that I want to do, but I never have time to do it. But life is not long enough to waste on other things, than being happy. That is the most important factor of life!

Men det er ikke helt hvad jeg mener i det sidste punkt..
Sådan står det skrevet:
I should use more time to do things that I like, instead of doing things more complicated, than I have to, it would spare me a lot of time.
Dette betyder det/Men det hænger ikke sammen (det var bla andet denne sætning, som var hentydet til, da jeg skrev:...og hjælpe lidt med kompositionen af sætningerne og ordvalget. Jeg synes, at der er en masse mangler i teksten. Den er ikke rigtig sammenhængende, hvis I forstår):
Jeg skulle bruge mere tid på at gøre ting, jeg kan lide, istedet for at gøre ting mere compliceret, end jeg behøver, dette ville spare mig en masse tid.
Men det er ikke helt hvad jeg mener i det sidste punkt..
