The movie is about hatred and racism and family.
The prencipal in the movie is Derek, where he hate the Negros and have no respects for them.
Later in the movie Derek is sentenced to three years in prison for the murder of two black guys who was trying to break into his car.
In the prison Derek was alone and have no friends and then Derek has be friend a black prisoner who works with him in the prison. When Derek was in the prison he thought always about his little brother danny. After 3 years Derek comes out from the prison with a new outlook on life he is slowly changed and forced into accepting black people.
When he returns from prison. he se that his younger brother becoming with the gangs groups. His brother is now hanging out with the same hate group and committing the same crimes, then Derek must to save his brother that he don’t making his mistakes
Derek sits Danny down and explains the horrors of prison. Danny accept what his brother say, and did what his brother want, they forget all what it was happen, and then they start a new life.
This movie ends With when his brother went to school and then shot dead in the high school bathroom by a black student

American history is a movie that we never can forget it.
Derek Vinyard was a good student with everything going for him until his father, a fire fighter, was shot and killed by a black man. Derek was forced to drop out of school to help support his family
The movie tries to show us that by working with this man, Derek gradually begins to understand that we are all, black and white alike, human beings, who share the same, fears, hopes, and dream
Derek used a different way to solve his problems, I think that he shouldn´t do in this way that beginning and hate people.
