Agatha Christie, som har skrevet en masse kriminalromaner, blev født i 1890 og døde i 1976. Alt, hvad hun har skrevet , er meget spændende. de to detektiver, som hun skabte, er velkendte i hele verden. Den ene af dem, som hedder Jane Marple, er gammeljomfru. Hun bor i en engelsk landsby, hvis indbyggere ved, at hun kan opklare mysterier.Den anden dektiv, som Agathas Christie "brugte", er en pensioneret belgisk politibetjent, hvis navn er Hercule Poirot. Agatha Christies romaner,som er meget populære, er udgivet i de fleste lande i billigbogsudgave. Historierne giver nok folk den spænding, som de savner i hverdagen.

maid = maiden
komma foran whose name is....(kunne diskuteres om det er en parentetisk eller bestemmende sætning)
kunne nok egentlig sige as cheap paperback editions (paperback bøger i England er normalt meget billige, kender dog ikke det eksakte ord for billigbøger). Men ville nok sige in...
