hej kan jeg få en til at chekke mine grammatik fejl, så vil jeg være meget taknemlig:)

500 hundred years ago, you didn’t knew much about health and sanitation. In the densely populated cities you could seen rats and flies, which mashed in all the dirt and muck , which the streets where filled with. People drank water from the rivers, which where also used as sewers.
That is why its not surprising, that the diseases where spread that fast.
The combating of the diseases was often leaved to the local barber, and the treatment could be extremely brutal. First with the imposition of effective anaesthetic, the treatment got more humane.

For fem hundrede år siden vidste man ikke ret meget om sundhed og hygiejne. I de tætbefolkede byer kunne man se rotter og fluer, der mæskede sig i alt det snavs og møg, som gaderne var fyldt med. Folk drank vand fra floder, der blev brugt som kloakker. Det er derfor ikke særligt overraskende, at sygdommen hurtigt bredte sig.
Bekæmpelsen af sygdomme var ofte overladt til den lokale barber, og behandlingen kunne være overordentlig brutal. Først med indførelsen af effektive bedøvelsesmidler blev behandlingen mere menneskelig.

People drank water out of rivers used as sewers. Therefore it is not particularly surprising that the disease spread quickly.
It was often up to the local barber to fight the disease and the treatment could be extremely brutal.
The treatment did not become more human until effective anaesthetics were introduced.
