Engelsk:
Mita now finds herself quite alone in the USA, a country she came to, believing that she was going to live a new life together with her new husband. She has come to the land of opportunities. A country providing place and space for the people who wish to act out the American dream. Her husband came to the USA to act out this dream, but died trying. Mita decided to take her husband’s attempt to act out the American dream further. She does not return to her family. She stays in the USA, where she begins to study to become a teacher. To begin with it frightens her to be alone in the new mysterious country but every time she almost regrets her choice, she thinks about her husband and his fight for this dream. The dream to create a new life in the USA, irrespective of background and economy; a dream which is only possible through hard work.
Today, Mita is a teacher in a High School in America, and she teaches the students English and art, and she is very happy with her job. She has not found herself a new husband, as she is still living with the memory of her deceased husband. The man who got her to travel to the USA, the man who introduced the land of opportunities to her, the land of dreams.
