Oversættelsen:
New Zealand is midway between Equator and the South Pole, almost exactly on the same position as Denmark on the other side of earth. Therefore the climate looks like Denmark with a lot of rain and temperatures, which barely passes 30 degrees and below few degrees of frost. New Zealand has approximately the same size as England and Italy and consists of two head Islands, the North Island and the South Island and a number of smaller islands. The landscape is very much varied: there are wide plains, which have the right ability of the production of corn, and grazing by sheep, there are great woods, there are snow covered volcanoes, hot sources, glaciers, rivers be privy to.
New Zealand was discovered and was resident by the Maori people for over thousand years ago. The first European, who arrived to the country, was Abel Tasman in the 17th century and James Cook in 1769, but an organized European settlement began first in the middle of the 19th century. The Maori chiefs acknowledge the English Queen as their head in 1840, but soon disputes developed between the Maori and the European immigrants, because the Maori did not feel that they had enough influence in their own country. After the two Maori wars, which ended with the defeat of the Maori, but still there was established some cooperation between the two races. The Maori population is 280.000 today, or about 9 % of the total population slightly over three million. However there are many marriages between the two races, and there are many New Zealand’s, who proclaim to descend from the original Maori people. The British government in 1852 gave New Zealand internal self-government, but the country has stood true fully by England’s side in both world wars. Today New Zealand is an independent state inside Commonwealth with the English Queen as the head of state. The political system is based on the English; however there is only one chamber in the parliament; the Maori are ensured to be represented in here. New Zealand has always been an agricultural country, but the economical development first started when they began to send cool downed meat to England at the end of the last century. New Zealand has the world largest export of butter and cheese, with the enormous number of sheep, 75 millions, also means, that the country has a comprehensive export of frozen sheep- and lam meat and is also the third largest wool exporter. The most important markets are Australia, England, Japan and USA, but there is also a huge demand of New Zealand products in China and the Middle East. New Zealand has also been hit by the economical crisis after the sudden increasing of oil prices in the 1970s, but still there is a relative high standard of living, and the country is best on the social area among those countries, who have reached the longest in direction of creating a welfare community.

hvis jeg skal rette den, vil jeg foretrække at se den danske udgave, men måske kommer der en anden og retter, jeg er her først i eftermiddag igen. Umiddelbart synes jeg ikke, at der er mange fejl.
