Hej, jeg har rettet og tilføjet yderligere på min tidligere indlæg. Håber der er nogen der gider at læse den igennem og evt. rette for fejl. På forhånd mange tak.
Difference between Billie Holiday and C.P. Ellis:
The difference between this people is their race. Billie Holiday is descent from a black family, and C.P Ellis is descent from a white family. White people didn’t like black people after the civil war; because they blamed the black people for lose of the war. The white people hated the black people so much, that they treated them as slaves. C.P. Ellis was only one of these white peoples. He was member of Ku Klux Klan, who is a group of white peoples whit white dresses, and spend there time whit hating the black peoples.
Billie Holidays mother works for white peoples. She doesn’t have anything against them, because they are paying her for her work. Billie Holidays life was more difficult then C.P. Ellis, because she is a black girl, or in another word a black women at six. It was not easy to be a black girl after the civil war. Billie was tried raped, but she manages to kick here out to safety.
Billie Holiday never had a family; she did never get married and never gets children, opposite of C.P Ellis who gets married and gets four children.
Similarity between Billie Holiday and C.P. Ellis:
Billie Holiday and C.P Ellis had a difficult childhood. They were both poor, and had to work hard to survive. “When you’re poor you grow up fast”, this two people didn’t live out their childhood. C.P. Ellis had to quit school and go to work. Billie Holiday grow up quickly to a women, she didn’t had any chance to live out here childhood, because she had to help here mother, and earn money to survive.

The difference between THESE TWO (ARTISTS) is their race (vel også deres køn??), Billie Holiday is DESCENDED from a black family, and C.P Ellis is DESCENDED from a white family. AT THE TIME OF THE civil war, there were hate AND DISCRIMINATION TOWARD THE BLACK AMERICANS; white people ill-treated them AND FORCED THEM INTO SLAVERY. C.P. Ellis was only one of THESE white people; he was A member of THE Ku Klux Klan, which we HAVE seen in the film, "people WITH white dresses", which BLAMES black people for LOSING the civil war.
Billie HOLIDAY'S mother WORKED for THE white people, and she didn’t have anything against them, because they were paying for her work. Billie HOLIDAY'S life was more difficult THAN THAT OF C.P. Ellis, because she was a girl or in OTHER WORDS a women at six (mening mangler). Boys COULD always protect THEMSELVES, but girls were not strong like them. Billie was RAPED.
