HEJSA..Jeg skal skrive et engelsk resume til min studieretningopgave på engelsk, og da jeg ikke har en morbror eller nogen anden i familien, der er professorer i engelsk, har jeg brug for lidt hjælp.!!! kunne du tænke dig at hjælpe??
English abstract
This study is about doping in professional cycling. It investigates the performance-encouraging remedies blood-doping, EPO and testosterone. The purpose of blood-doping and EPO is to enhance your ability to perform by increasing the amount of red blood cells. The purpose of testosterone is to build up the body, by increasing the musclemass and the musclestrength. It describes the dangerous side effects, the drugs which are most relevant to a professional racing cyclist and some of the possible reasons, why people are willing to risk their lives to become rich, famous and successful. The study describes the pressure from the fans, the trainer, the team-mates, the sponsors, the news media and the pressure from the cyclist himself. At last there is an estimate of the initiatives in the battle against doping. This sport will maybe never bee clean and the doping are wiped out, but if it shall happen, we all have to change our idea of the sport. We have to stop thinking about the results and the money, but instead think of the joy in the sport, the technique and the tactics. The knowledge is found I books, articles and by the internet.
