Abstract rettelse

This paper examines the history of penicillin. How the scotish doctor, Alexander Fleming, a day in august 1928, discovers a mould fungus in one of his petri dishes, which can produce penicillin, and how this new found antibiotica spreds out to the world with it’s importance and influence for the future. The next part of the paper contains a (gennemgang) of what penicillin is, and how it works on infections, And from here it will change to a description of the evolution of resistant bacteria, where the enclosure “Methicillinresistente Stafylokokker” will be included. The last part of the paper discusses how the evolution can be controlled, both societal and biological.
The knowledge of the penicillins history was found through reading of “Alexander Fleming og penicillinet” to get a background for the rest of the paper. The next part, about penicillin itself and bacterial resistance, is from different biological books, and the enclosure is here used as an expemple of a multiresistant bacteria. By the help of todays problems and meaning of how penicillin should be used, is made a discussion and from that a conclusion that says that bacterial resistance aginst penicillin is a world problem, and everyone have to enter the war with it. If nothing is done soon the problem will simpely grow bigger and become unmanageable.
