This paper contains an investigation of the so called obesity epidemic, which will be sustained by investigations from weekly journals, written by doctors. It has been proven that these health problems are caused by lack of exercise and nutrition problems. The consequences of the health risks surrounding obesity are described, including diabetics, high blood pressure, and heart problems. It also contains a statement of the normal appetite regulation, and also how the hormones “leptin” and “insulin” affects the body. In addition it contains a program on how you can loose weight by doing exercises and overall get a healthier life. Finally this paper contains a discussion on whether or not exercise is good for pre-obesity patients while not good for treatment, if it is the only treatment being used, while on the other hand it is a good solution, in combination with a diet, medical treatment or an operation.
